ARTIST RESUME

As an artist I am primarily a landscape painter.  I particularly enjoy the challenges of painting en plein air, seeking to capture those momentary explosions of color and shadows that nature provides. I seek to interpret the beauty of my surroundings from the solitary tree to the expansiveness of mountain ranges and canyons. I use color expressively and paint with loose, broad brushstrokes. It is my intent to celebrate nature it all its various forms of beauty.
